Gee Jack, history would argue otherwise...

First there was Paterson, the first Marine resistor the first Gulf
war. He was acquitted at his Kaneohe court marital with wide community
support.

Then there was the DNA Boy's at Kaneohe Marine base who refused to
submit to DNA testing. That ended with the government being force to
develop protocols on the captured DNA, how long it could be kept -
instead of forever, 75 years. The government couldn't sell the DNA to
third parties - like insurance companies. Stuff like dat.

The boys...oh they were convicted of 'refusing a direct order' and
sentenced to barracks restriction for a weekend, before given
honorable discharges. Did we mention the barracks was on the ocean and
since they had been held past their discharge date it gave them just
enough time to pack.

Now surely you remember Lt. Watada, goggle how that turned out .

Finally there was PFC Manning. Many were CERTAIN she would be in
Leavenworth for the next 35 years. Yet, she's' free and received
upwards of a quarter million in an on line campaign to raise funds for
her future

We don't know how Mumia's case will finally turn out, but we're
guessing it won't be something you approve of and you'll be on the
wrong side of justice...again.
